7 Things You MUST Say During a Job Interview

A job interview is an opportunity for the employer to learn more about you and for you to learn more about the employer. There are a couple of things you should always say during a job interview – and they help each of you to learn more about the other. Asking the right questions will also demonstrate your desire to learn about the company and how you can be the right fit.

1. Always Demonstrate Knowledge of the Company

I’ve interviewed countless people who know very little about the company when they come in for the interview. This lack of preparation often dooms the interview.

Perform research on the company website, on recent news items, press releases, new products, and organizational changes. Be prepared to talk about how you fit well into this position and how your experience will benefit the company with the information you’ve gathered. Showing your interest will impress the hiring manager.

4. Career Path and How This Company is a Good Fit

5. Experience to Do the Job

6. Team Player

7. Use the Company’s Words
